The Program

The program spans three years, with the third year being contingent on the trainee’s obtaining research funding with the guidance of the faculty. The training program consists of a combination of course work in clinical resrearch, cognitive neuroscience, brain mapping techniques, transcranial magentic stimulation, clinical training in cognitive and behavioral neurology, and hands on research.
The course work takes place at the Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard University, The Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Dartmouth College, and the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The clinical training component takes place at the BIDMC and the Youville Hospital and Rehabilitation Center. All fellows will have a a clinical base at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a research base in their selected laboratory. Research takes place at a laboratory of a member of the training faculty at any of the training sites by arrangement between the trainee and the faculty member.
